Trustee

Are you someone who believes that great leadership and strong accountability make the difference between good schools and truly exceptional ones? Do you have the experience, curiosity and commitment to help shape the strategic direction of a growing multi-academy trust and ensure that over 5,300 children and young people get the very best start in life?

Together Learning Trust is looking for new trustees to join our board. This is a voluntary role, but it is far from a passive one. As a trustee, you will work alongside our executive team and governors to set vision and strategy, hold leaders to account, and ensure our schools are financially well-run and educationally excellent across Calderdale and Kirklees.

Prior governance experience is not essential as training and support is provided, however we would particularly welcome interest from people with experience in:

·        Primary and Secondary Education

·        Special Educational Needs and Inclusion

·        Finance, audit or business leadership

·        HR or people development

In return, you will gain meaningful governance experience, access to high-quality development and training and the chance to be part of something that genuinely matters.
