Angela has been a primary teacher for 19 years , progressing to senior leadership and has been Deputy Headteacher at Meltham Moor primary for the last 7 years. Now she is working as associate/acting headteacher 2 days a week.

Angela has a passion for developing teaching and learning to ensure that children are receiving a broad balanced and rich curriculum. A curriculum underpinned by high expectations and full of real and meaningful experiences. She believes strongly in developing children to be equipped for the wider world socially, emotionally and academically.

Having taught in year 6 for many years. Angela has taught across key stage 1/2 and has an excellent track record of improving and sustaining excellent outcomes at the end of KS2 (Y6 SATs tests).
